Through its acquisition of Peak InfoSec, Gigit can deliver CMMC 3rd Party Assessing Organization (C3PAO) services. After the completion of our CMMC Level 3 Certification by the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA), our authority will be to conduct CMMC Conformity Assessments up to Level 3.
Choosing your C3PAO
Prior to beginning your Conformity Assessment, your organization will need to pick a C3PAO. Governance prohibits a C3PAO from consulting with your firm prior to or after conducting your Conformity Assessment (we can do/or, but not both). The C3PAO is, however, a key team member for getting your organization for a Conformity Assessment:
- We keep your organization up-to-date on changes required to complete the Conformity Assessment;
- We support your organization to determine what is in your Certification & Assessment Boundaries;
- We support your team by answering questions and interpreting the CMMC Assessment Guide Security Requirements and Assessment Objectives

- Contact you to schedule a meeting to understand your Conformity Assessment needs & timing
- Provide a pro-bono training session on how to get ready for a Conformity Assessment. Regardless of whether you pick Gigit as your C3PAO, this training will help you on your path
- Send you a questionnaire in order to size the effort to complete your Conformity Assessment
- Create a Conformity Assessment proposal and if everyone agrees, we will place you on our schedule.
