What this covers

This policy describes how Gigit, Inc., trading as Gigit Security, handles personal information collected through https://gigitsecurity.com. It does not cover information handled under a signed client engagement, which is governed by the agreement for that engagement.

What we collect

Information you give us. If you submit the contact form, we collect your name, email address, organization, the nature of your enquiry, and anything else you choose to include. If you contact us by phone or email, we retain that correspondence.

Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider records standard server request data, including IP address, browser type, referring page, and timestamps. This is used for security and to understand aggregate traffic.

What we do not do

We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking on this website.

How we use it

To respond to your enquiry, to provide services you have requested, to maintain the security and functioning of the site, and to meet legal obligations. If you ask us about a service and we respond, that is the use. We do not add contact form submissions to a marketing list without asking.

Who we share it with

Service providers who help us operate: website hosting, email, and form processing. These providers act on our instructions and are not permitted to use your information for their own purposes. We may also disclose information where required by law.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are retained for as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable period afterwards for business records. Server logs are retained on our hosting provider's standard schedule. You may request deletion at any time.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS and we apply access controls to systems holding enquiry data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we recommend not submitting controlled, classified, or otherwise sensitive information through the contact form. Call us instead and we will arrange an appropriate channel.

Your choices

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact hello@gigitsecurity.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy law, including under the Colorado Privacy Act.

Children

This site is directed at businesses and is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

We will update this page if our practices change, and revise the date at the top. Material changes will be noted rather than made silently.
